Is there such a thing as too many throw pillows? No. There is never enough. Ok, I admit..I have a problem. But a throw pillow is the adults stuffed animal, is it not? You wouldn’t deprive a child of yet another stuffed bear..no, nor should you pass up that gorgeous accent pillow. In my opinion, pillows bring a room together. They either add a pop of color or tie everything in. You can mix and match them, switch them around, cover them..and by changing out just one pillow, can change a whole room. The Blissful nest posted a blog on how to style throw pillows and after reading it, you can do no wrong! Throw pillows can be used to add texture or color to a space in any amount you feel! You can layer them, stack them, put them in a basket or on a bench. Basically, a throw pillow is the guacamole added to your room. You have a plain tan couch, a cream rug, and gray walls. Sounds basic and safe right? Well, add any color pillow to that sofa and all of a sudden you have opened up the room to include art work with those colors, curtains, maybe accent pieces. You can now incorporate complimemtary colors, pattern or texture in to what was once a drab room. And the best part (if you’re like me) it’s really easy and affordable to change out! Visit Etsy.com and search “blue pillow cover”, search “pink pillow cover”. Bet you didn’t think there were so many pink pillow options? You can also find great covers on Amazon, for amazing prices. A throw pillow is a small piece with big impact and when switched out can change the entire feel of a room. The stores make it really easy to shop nowadays too by organizing the pillows according to color. Go ahead, go buy the pillows you’ve been eyeing, your room will thank you!

Love throw pillows. Make them seasonal. It’s almost time to put out the Fall collection. Incorporate some Halloween then Thanksgiving. Of course, Christmas!
Still have some Christmas pillows that I put out every year that were given to me by a dear friend.
yes, I love the idea of changing out pillows for the Holidays. I actually have some really cute pillow covers for Xmas!
